The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf® Philippines, through its Caring Cup program, is once again calling on its community to come together in compassion and action – this time for the people of Cebu and Davao Oriental.
On September 30, 2025, a powerful magnitude 6.9 earthquake struck parts of Cebu and neighboring provinces, damaging homes, schools, and essential infrastructure. Thousands of families were displaced, many left without access to clean water, food, and basic necessities. While emergency response teams were quick to mobilize, affected communities continue to need long-term support as they work to rebuild their lives.
Just days later, another series of strong earthquakes struck Davao Oriental, further devastating communities in Mindanao. Many residents were forced to evacuate as homes and public structures sustained significant damage, adding to the growing need for urgent relief and rehabilitation efforts across both regions.
In response, CBTL has launched an in-store fundraiser under its Caring Cup initiative to help provide much-needed aid to those affected. From October 11 to December 31, 2025, guests can donate any amount starting at ₱1 at any CBTL store nationwide.
All proceeds will go to Waves for Water Philippines and Rise Against Hunger Philippines, two nonprofit partners with proven track records in emergency relief. These organizations are currently on the ground helping deliver food, clean water, hygiene kits, water filtration systems, and other essential supplies to affected families and communities in both Cebu and Davao Oriental.
Through Caring Cup, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf® Philippines continues its mission of uplifting communities in need, encouraging Filipinos to come together to make a meaningful difference.

Visit any The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf® store nationwide from October 11 to December 31, 2025, and let our Team Members know you’d like to contribute to the Cebu Earthquake Relief Fund. You can donate any amount starting at ₱1. Every contribution helps bring clean water, food, and hope to affected families.
