Coffee sourced from our La Minita Farm in Costa Rica are grown under a sustainable farming framework: the coffee beans are pesticide-free, the lush grounds are maintained by hand, while running hydroelectricity and a water treatment plant ensure the farm uses only renewable and recycled resources.
Our black teas from Kenya and Darjeeling, India are all natural, grown without pesticides or other added chemicals. Moreover, the Darjeeling estate’s workers are supplied with petroleum gas for their cooking and heating, hence, eliminating the locals’ dependence on wood fires. Abundant forest cover means flourishing tea gardens, and also helps preserve the natural habitat of the area’s rare wildlife and plant species.
