This is a story about how my fiance and I met and how The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf® has been a great part of our love story.
It started when he sent me a message, since we happened to have a common friend on Facebook. I wasn’t sure if I liked him at first, but I tried to become friends with him since at the time I was also single. After exchanging messages and eventually exchanging numbers, we finally decided to meet in person. Our first date was in a The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf® store, as he’s a huge fan of the coffee. We spent almost four hours just talking, getting to know, and sharing stories with each other. After that day, we still kept in touch and became really close with each other, until he asked me to become his girlfriend. It was October 17, 2011 when I said yes, and it was in The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf® store in Trinoma.
We shared a happy relationship after that. During our 3rd year anniversary, he proposed to me, to which of course I said yes. Now that we’re planning for the wedding, I thought of having a coffee-themed wedding since coffee has been an integral part of our relationship–from how we got know each other more, to how it blossomed into a fulfilling and loving relationship in the end. The wedding would be on December 29, 2016 so I still have a lot of time ahead of me. I’m excited to start this new chapter with him, brewing our best years together towards creating the perfect blend.
