Your Coffee Bean Story

Our The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf Love Story: Erwin and Jeric

by The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf

I don’t really know if any part of The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf management will be able to read this. However, since my future husband, Erwin Presnedi and I really feel that The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf has played a big part in our love story, we decided to at least send an e-mail to thankThe Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf Philippines for being such an awesome coffee shop.
Erwin and I knew each other from church for the longest time we could remember. However, 12 years ago, after he asked me to dance during my 3rd year prom, we started hanging out together atThe Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf Alabang Town Center. I told him I hated coffee. He said I’ve never tasted the Mocha Ice Blended, hence, the date. I gave it a try. I initially didn’t like it but I fell in love with the coffee-based Vanilla Iced Blended after he bought me one so I agreed to hang out at the coffee shop.
To date, I have tasted most, if not all, of The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf drinks. My favorite was your Red Velvet Iced Blended (I do miss it. I hope you do bring it back), now it is either your Ultimate Mocha Iced Blended or your Cafe Americano (with skimmed milk), depending on my mood. For tea, I loved your Cherry Blossom Tea (I also miss this), now, I am crazy over your Jasmine Dragon Phoenix Pearl Tea.
Erwin, however, has been in love with your Original Mocha Iced Blended since he was in college (hence, for more than 15 years, I think) until present.
We would spend hours and hours talking inThe Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf Alabang Town Center. We started getting to know each other wholesomely thanks to the venue thatThe Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf provided.
We became boyfriend and girlfriend a year after that. I started studying in UP Diliman. We discovered the CBTL Branch in Katipunan and in UP Technohub and had our study dates there. At times, I would wait for him to finish work and stay at CBTL Shangrila Mall.
When we were in a long distance relationship as I was sent to study in Korea for a year, he visited me for a while. We deliberately looked for a The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf branch in Seoul to help us feel like we’re home.
When I started studying for the bar, Erwin cheered on me atThe Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf UP Town Center.
We both grew to love The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf so much that when we started preparing for our wedding, we insisted that it be a part of our prenup shot. In fact, we did our meetings with our wedding suppliers either atThe Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf Megamall or South Park.
Hence, from both of us, we would like to offer our sincerest thank you toThe Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf for being such an awesome coffee shop. Thank you for letting us have the venue for many of our much-needed conversations, meetings, study dates, or even just merely unwinding with your coffee and tea.
