I attend different events and gatherings but this Caring Cup event touched my heart the most. When I saw the children running towards me and smiling, I felt very excited and happy. Even though I was tired that day, I felt very alive because of the children smiling, embracing and holding my hands and saying “Hi Kuya Eugene!”
I really love kids– being with them reminds me a lot of the times when I was a child. While waiting to go inside the Mind Museum, a 12 year old girl approached me and held my hand and asked me if it was ok to be her partner for the tour inside the museum. I said, “No problem” While inside the Mind Museum, you can see in the eyes of those children that they were very excited and curious about the things they saw. My partner was very happy and playful and like the other children in the museum, they loved playing around and were always asking questions.
The tour in the museum was very enjoyable, I am thankful because I was given the opportunity by Coffee Bean to join this wonderful experience that touched my heart. Again, thank you and God bless.
